Post TIFF 2017 roundup with Mel and friend of the podcast producer Floyd Kane. We talk about some of the changes at TIFF this year, including the Share Her Journey Initiative and some of the criticism of the festival in the media. Of course the first like, hour is a bunch of tangents that almost becomes a comic book podcast for a hot second. We guess who may take the top job at TIFF after 2018 when the current CEO steps down. At the 40 minute mark we actually get to talking about our favourite films of TIFF 2017.
We all loved Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. We also enjoyed Professor Marsden and the Wonder Women, Hostiles, A Season in France and The Shape of Water.
